This is the first model camera Argus made. It is a small bakelight camera, that can take some fine pictures if you know how to use it. Argus made them in a variety of colors: brown/gold, Olive drab, Grey, white, and the most common Black. I have never seen a white one, nor heard of anyone else that has seen one. Maybe its a myth? Well anyway, my three A's are in OK condition. The earliest of the three is serial #23xxx. This A has the earlier lens front. The top lettering says: Argus-Ilex-Precise, instead of the later: -ARGUS-.
