Argus C4

1951-1958

The Argus C4 is one of the most high quality cameras ever made. The lens is coupled to the rangefinder for easy rangefinding. If that's a word. It has a "hot" shoe on top that is actually hot...not like the shoes on the C3 colormatics and matchmatics and C3 standards. There is a selector switch on the rear of the camera which allows you to choose from M or F. Some C4 models have a switch that allows you to choose from M or X. X being electronic sync. This camera has taken some of my finest photos (not that i take fine photos ;)  )

film type: 35mm.
lens: f/2.8 50mm. COATED CINTAR
shutter speeds: 10, 25, 50, 100, 300, B
aperture settings: 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16, 22
fucusing capabilities: lens barrel twists from 3ft-infinity, + rangefinder
